Dr. Ryan Shilian

Dr. Ryan Shilian is the Medical Director of Allergy & Immunology Center Inc. He is board-certified in Pediatric and Adult Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology. Dr. Shilian is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (FAAAAI) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (FACAAI).

Dr. Shilian earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) before completing his medical education at Touro University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at University Hospitals in Cleveland, where he was appointed Chief Resident. He subsequently completed fellowship training in Pediatric and Adult Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology through Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Shilian has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented his research at national and international scientific meetings. His work on reducing hospital length of stay has received international recognition. Passionate about medical education, he actively teaches and mentors medical students and resident physicians.

Dr. Shilian has served on the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology’s Clinical Immunology & Autoimmune Diseases Committee and its Respiratory & Sleep-Related Breathing Disorders Committee.

Dr. Shilian has a special clinical interest in the treatment of food allergies through Oral Immunotherapy (OIT). His clinical expertise also includes the diagnosis and treatment of environmental allergies, asthma, eczema (atopic dermatitis), chronic sinus disease, nasal polyps, chronic hives (urticaria), angioedema, contact dermatitis, eosinophilic esophagitis, primary immunodeficiency disorders, and other complex allergic and immunologic conditions.
